Sacred Valley & 2 Day Inca Trail Tour

Sacred Valley & 2 Day Inca Trail Tour

Sacred Valley Day Tour, named for being the main food supplier of the Inca empire, the Sacred Valley sits on the banks of the Urubamba River. that was Vilcanota river in its beggining, that comes from the Quechua word Wilcamayu or Sacred River. The Incas built archaeological centers, along their banks, that replicated the constellations that they knew of the Andean sky so this contributes, even more, to the beauty of this enchanting valley. It is so named at the end of the vast Urubamba Valley, between the towns of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, located a short distance from the city of Cusco  where agricultural areas and beautiful villages were concentrated from the Incas. The valley is flanked on the right bank of the Urubamba River by the Urubamba mountain range. The Sacred Valley is characterized by very special conditions, beautiful landscape, excellent climate, very fertile lands and the waters of the sacred river of the Incas. The Sacred Valley is comprised between the towns of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, has wonderful Andean landscapes, where its inhabitants, natives of the Quechua ethnic group, conserve many customs and ancestral rites. There are many routes that arrive to know the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and one of them is the Classic Inca Trail of four days. But for some people the time is tight and four days is a long period. If you are one of them, there is an alternative in which you will experience the adventure of the stone path and appreciate the wonder of the world: The 2 Day Inca Trail Tour.
