This 2-day tour combines the Sacred Valley's main archaeological sites with a train journey to Machu Picchu, designed for travelers who want to see both without multi-day trekking. On the first day, you travel by private vehicle through Pisac, where you can walk through the local market and visit the hillside ruins overlooking the valley. From there, the route continues to Moray, home to the circular agricultural terraces believed to have been used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation, and then to Maras, a small colonial town near the Salineras — thousands of hand-harvested salt pans that have been in use since pre-Hispanic times. The day continues to Ollantaytambo, both a living Quechua town and one of the few places where Inca urban planning survives largely intact, before boarding an evening train to Aguas Calientes.
On the second day, an early bus ride takes you up to Machu Picchu for a guided visit of approximately two hours, covering the main structures, terraces, and viewpoints within the citadel. Afterward, you have free time to explore independently or, for travelers who booked in advance, to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (regulated entry, limited daily spots, additional fee). In the afternoon, you return by train to Ollantaytambo and by vehicle to Cusco.
This itinerary works well for travelers with limited time, those traveling with family, or anyone who prefers not to hike multiple days to reach Machu Picchu. All transportation, the archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, and the train tickets are arranged in advance, and the tour runs as a private service starting from 2 travelers.

Important note: If you prefer to return earlier, you can choose the 14:30 train and arrive in Cusco by approximately 18:00.
This day we will make the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, tour that will start at 07:20 hrs in the morning, when we will pick you up at your hotel, the first place to visit is Pisac with its typical craft market You will also visit the archaeological group of Pisaq with its picturesque terraces cultivated in the mountains with terraces used and improved by the Quechuas for the cultivation of products. We will reach an altitude of 3400 m, including 3500 m if we dare to cross the highest part. After, we will take our transport to follow the road to Ollantaytambo. We will go to Urubamba where we have a buffet lunch on Tunupa Restaurant. Continuing with the tour we will go to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo also known as the living Inca city.Here you will have a guided tour in the arqueological complex and them you can explore more of Ollantaytambo, where we will spend this first nigth.
In the early morning transfer from the hotel in Ollantaytambo to the train station for our trip to km 104 (Chachabamba) where we will start our trek. Chachabamba is about 2200 meters high is this place we will visit the archeological site of Chachabamba to start with the walk to the archaeological rest of Wiñaywayna by an acceleration of about 3 hours of walking and 450 meters up the road we can appreciate what is going to be the Urubamba valley, the hydroelectric power station of Machu Picchu, species of Orchids, Bromeliads, and a beautiful waterfall before arriving at the Wiñaywayna archeological site already in the Inca construction, we will also have an explanation and later we will go to the hostel Wiñaywayña. After the lodge we have about 2 hours of walk to Machu Picchu without first passing through the door of the sun or the Inti Punku from where we can see the sunset of Machu Picchu. After arriving at Machu Picchu we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have dinner in a restaurant and spend the night in a hotel.
We will take the bus very early 5:30 in the morning on the first bus to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu to then have a tour of more than 2 hours in the citadel and then a free time to climb the mountain of HUYNAPICCHU (optional and not included) and in the afternoon go down again to hot waters to take the train back to the city of Cusco and hotel, end of our service.
IMPORTANT: government rules are not allowed to make reservations without complete details of the client's passport and full payment of the entrance to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. to guarantee your place in the Inca Trail you need to come a scanned copy of your passport and a deposit of 50% of the price of trek. Your reservation would only be confirmed when we have your ticket in our hands. In the case of passport change or passport number you. Needs to notify us or lose your reservation. You have to carry your passport on the road.
